Abstract
The motion of a single gas bubble is examined in the case of creeping flow where the exterior phase obeys the power-law model. An expression is develo ped for the drag coefficient using a perturbation method up to the second o rder in the parameter alpha = (n-1)/2. The relation obtained is compared wi th existing correlations and experimental data.
