Abstract
Trichotillomania is characterized by recurrent pulling out of one's ha
ir for pleasure, gratification, or relief of tension that results in n
oticeable hair loss. We report the case of a 31 years old woman with a
20 years clinical history of trichotillomania who responded favourabl
y to fluoxetine, a serotonin selective reuptake inhibitor.
