Abstract
The paper is focused upon detailed production-ecological analysis of the he rb layer in several categories of floodplain forests (soft, transitional an d hard) before and after damming the Danube river. Obtained results are com pared and discussed (Tables 2-4) and the synthesis of the herb layer biomas s studies in the Danubian floodplain forests is presented(Table 5).
