The contents of Mn, Cu, Zn and Pb have been ascertained in the cambisolic a
ndosol of the climax spruce stand (group of types of geobiocens Sorbi aucup
ariae-Piceeta) in dependence of the slope exposure (SW-NW). The releasable
amounts of investigated risk elements found in the profiles of 2 soils did
not overstepped the hygienic limits and varied in the following spans: Mn f
rom 55 to 262 mg.kg(-1), Cu from 6 to 16 mg.kg(-1), Zn from 17 to 38 mg.kg(
-1) and Pb from 1 to 10 mg.kg(-1). The contents of Cu, Pb and Zn in the soi
l with a SW slope exposure were decreasing towards subsoil, while the maxim
um content of Zn in the soil with a NW slope exposure (38 mg.kg(-1)) and of
Mn in the both soils (NW-260 mg.kg(-1), SW-140 mg.kg(-1)) was found in the
middle B-val horizon. In comparison with an A horizon the mean amount of r
eleasable zinc in the B-val horizon was higher about 6 mg.kg(-1), but of ma
nganese up to 90 mg.kg(-1) (SW exposure of a slope) and 180 mg.kg(-1) (NW e
xposure of a slope).
