Abstract
The ArcInfo Geographical Information System (GIS) was used to develop spati al databases for recording spatial data. The databases developed in this st udy provide a graphic and mapping display interface to assist the managemen t of the Namoi Basin in New South Wales, Australia. In addition, the databa ses are used in the investigation of the impacts of spatio-temporal changes in landuse/management on hydrologic processes from catchment to basin scal es. Climate, stream flow, and water quality data are being incorporated int o the ArcInfo dataset to drive and test hydrologic models. (C) 1999 Elsevie r Science Ltd.
