Abstract
This Special Issue presents the results of a multi-site, multi-year nationa l demonstration project funded by the Center for Substance Abuse Treatment (CSAT). The overall project was designed to test the effectiveness of integ rating street outreach programs aimed at preventing HIV infection, with ref erral to substance abuse treatment for populations that historically have b een difficult to reach.
