Combined host (similar to 95 at% enriched stable Fe-57) and very dilute imp
urity (similar to 0.01 at% radioactive Co-60) NMR signals have been obtaine
d on the one sample of polycrystalline Fe foil utilising perturbations to t
he gamma anisotropy from in situ thermally oriented Co-60 nuclei for both r
esonances. The NMR-TDNO signals on the Fe-57 sites have been followed down
to applied magnetic fields well below the host magnetic saturation and exhi
bited two distinct components; a strong, narrow homogeneous signal, superim
posed over a broader inhomogeneous signal. The impurity Co-60 Fe-57 inhomog
eneous resonance has been studied with three pulse NMRON and the irreversib
le decay of the nuclear spin echo measured as a function of applied magneti
c field.
