Abstract
We report on the magnetic properties of liquid crystalline iron complexes w
ith 1,4,7-tris- [3,4-bis(decyloxy)-benzyl]-1,4,7-triazacyclononane. Mossbau
er spectroscopy in external magnetic fields reveals two different molecular
configurations: monomers form magnetic single domain particles while dimer
s are found to behave diamagnetic.
