Abstract
The absorption edge of the perovskite La0.9Sr0.1MnO3, determined using the diffuse reflection coefficient spectra, shifts by the giant amount 0.4 eV i n the direction of lower energies as the temperature decreases from the Cur ie point (155 K) to 141 K.
