The thermal conductivity of gaseous 1,1,1,2,3,3,3-heptafluoropropane (HFC-2
27ea) is reported over the temperature range from 13.87 to 68.58 degrees C
at pressures up to 1.289 MPa. A transient hot-wire instrument with two anod
ized tantalum wires was used as the heat source. The uncertainty oft;he res
ults is estimated to be less than +/-3%. The results are correlated as a fu
nction of temperature and density. The thermal conductivity of the dilute g
as and the saturated vapor are obtained by extrapolation.
