Abstract
The incidence and the clinical consequences of the anxiety disorders s how that anxiety is still a subject of preoccupation in the field of t he social structure organization. The emergence frequency and the comp arative severity of the benzodiazepine side effects dictate the develo pment of not so much toxic drugs as the serotonin 5-HT1A receptors ago nists. The classical rodent and non human primate models are slightly sensitive to the new classes of anxiolytic drugs. The new minor tranqu illizers development imposes a revaluation of the actual animal models and the conception as well as the validation of original experimental procedures.
