Abstract
The analysis and synthesis of conformal printed antennas on ellipsoidal str uctures are investigated. The originality comes from the use of a computer algebra system to generate the polynomial expression of the zeros of the ch aracteristic equations. Fast and accurate expressions for the resonance fre quency are given far an ellipsoidal radiating element operating in the TM10 mode. (C) 1999 John Wiley & Sons, Inc.
