Abstract
Microtomized sections of single-crystalline ferroelectric liquid crystallin e elastomers (SC-FLCE) have been prepared. The piezoelectric (and electrost rictive) responses in these sections have been measured by means of an inte rferometric setup and the pyroelectric properties have been determined usin g the laser intensity modulation method (LIMM).
