Abstract
Lobelia guerrerensis is a new species endemic to pine, pine-oak, and mixed deciduous forests of the Sierra Madre del Sur in Guerrero, Mexico. Though c ollected several times over the past 60 years, the specimens were consisten tly misidentified as the narrow-leaved phase of L. laxiflora. Detailed phen etic analyses, however, have showed them to be morphologically quite distin ct. In addition, several new combinations needed for a forthcoming checklis t of world Campanulaceae are published.
