Abstract
We study the spectrum of the bremsstrahlung photons coining from the electr ons and positrons, which are produced in the strong electromagnetic fields present in peripheral relativistic heavy-ion collisions. We compare differe nt approaches, making use of the exact pair production cross section in hea vy-ion collisions as well as the double equivalent photon approximation. [S 0556-2813(99)01509-5].
