Abstract
Formation of aluminum hydride solutions by deposition of AlH3, synthesized directly from elements, onto liquid nitrogen-cooled substrate frozen solvat ing solvent, was studied. Aluminum hydride solutions were identified on the basis of IR spectra and elemental analysis. The efficiency of AlH3 solutio ns was studied in reduction of organic compounds incorporating various func tional groups.
