The effect of modification of TiO2 with niobium(V) on the thermal stability
of the initial anatase structure and state of copper in the catalyst CuO/T
iO2(Nb2O5) was studied. The obtained results indicate high capacity of supp
orted copper(II) for reduction via shift of electron density from the modif
ied support to the metal, increasing the catalyst activity in CO oxidation.
