Abstract
Radical copolymerizaiton of 1-vinyl-1,2,4-triazole with 1, 1,omega-trihydro tetrafluoropropyl methacrylate in a dimethylformamide solution, initiated w ith AIBN, was studied. The copolymerization constants at medium conversions were determined, and the Alfrey-Price reactivity factors were calculated. Radical copolymerization of the above monomers in the presence of cross-lin king agents (N,N'-methylenebisacrylamide and divinylbenzene) yielded transp arent elastic hydrogels with water absorption of 40-85%.
