Domain derivative of the leading eigenvalue of a model transport operator

We study the differentiation with respect to the spatial domain of the lead ing eigenvalue of a model transport operator. We prove a differentiability theorem: give a simple formula for the derivative, and estimate its size in terms of natural parameters of the problem. The proof relies on the implic it function theorem: spectral theory and sobolev regularity of transport op erators.
