Abstract
Physarum Ppras1 protein was efficiently prenylated by prenyltransferases of spinach. Surprisingly in spite of the C-terminal sequence (CLLL) specific for geranylgeranylation the protein was preferentially farnesylated. Conseq uences of this observation are discussed.
