Abstract
For multivariable linear systems whose physical parameters can deviate from the nominal values, the problem of robust stabilization is considered. Its solution, which is based on providing a prescribed gain margin when openin g a system with respect to the varied parameters is shown to be reducible t o a standard problem of H-infinity-optimization. An example is presented.
