Abstract
The rate controlling role of gas/solid diffusive transport and of intraporo us diffusion in SCR-DeNO(x) monolith (honeycomb and plate-type) catalysts i s demonstrated and discussed in view of opportunities for catalyst optimiza tion and process development. On the contrary, axial diffusion and pressure drop are shown to be negligible phenomena in typical SCR monolith reactors . (C) 1999 Elsevier Science B.V. All rights reserved.
