The paper deals with precipitate chemical composition of Fe-3%Si steel
after hot rolling, cold rolling, decarburization annealing, and in th
e final state. Secondary microphases were obtained by electrochemical
and chemical methods of isolation. Using EDX, X-ray diffraction,, and
chemical analyses, it was found that the precipitate fraction, from ho
t to final state, is decreasing, but the content of the particle-forma
ting elements Al, Mn, and Ti is increasing. In the final state of Fe-3
%Si steel there is more AlN precipitates than of Al2O3 ones and the nu
mber of the MnS particles is doubled.
