Abstract
Methods for investigating the dust-retention capability of preservativ es are developed. A comparison of the preservatives by this property i s made, and the most appropriate compositions for a dusty atmosphere a re revealed. Other operating properties of the preservatives, such as impregnation capability, effect on the adhesion of lacquer coatings, a nd protective efficiency, are also studied.
