An elderly patient with advanced locoregional melanoma

There is no consensus on the management of cancer in elderly patients and a ge per se should not be the sole factor in the decision-making process. We present a case of regional metastatic melanoma in an 83-year-old patient wh o received either untested or inadequate treatments. The general condition and stage of the disease, rather than chronological age alone, should be th e determinant factor.
