Abstract
The deuteron form factors are calculated in the framework of the relativist ic nucleon-meson dynamics, by means of the explicitly covariant light-front approach. The influence of the nucleon electromagnetic form factors is dis cussed. At Q(2) less than or equal to 3 (GeV/c)(2) the prediction for the s tructure function A(Q(2)) and for the tensor polarization observable t(20) are in agreement with the recent data of CEBAF/TJNAF.
