Abstract
The present report describes a plexiform schwannoma involving the subcutis
of the foot in an 8-year-old boy. Gross findings revealed thin fibrous sept
a in a multilobulated tumor that was partly separated into free body-like n
odules in the subcutis. Preoperative CT and MRI failed to delineate this mu
ltinodular architecture or free bodies. This is a case presentation includi
ng the CT and MR findings associated with plexiform schwannoma.
