Abstract
Intumescent fire retardant coatings have found great application due t o high thermoprotection properties, which reduce heat flow on the poly mer surface. However there were no attempts to study the influence of surface structure on foamed char formation processes. In this work we present the experimental investigation of thermoprotection properties of CFR with a PTFE modified surface.
