Abstract
Interdiffusion at junctions between oxygen and sodium ion conductors-y ttria-stabilized zirconia and sodium aluminosilicate-based composites, respectively-is studied by AES. A method for measurements of concentr ation profiles on surfaces under conditions prone to charging and elec tron beam damage is described, using a fence-shaped analysis area, bac kground subtraction and factor analysis.
