Abstract
This paper proposes a converter for conversion between MHEG-5 and HTML4.0 f ormats, based on a comparison of these formats. DAVIC has adopted MHEG-5 as its multimedia presentation format for Broadcast, while HTML is a standard multimedia presentation format of the WWW. Although there are many differe nces between the two formats, expectations of Broadcast/Internet convergenc e are getting higher The purpose of this converter is to reuse MHEG-5 conte nt and HTML4.0 content with each other. When the purpose is accomplished, B roadcast/Internet convergence will be improved.
