Abstract
Bioassay-guided purification of sulphated polysaccharides from a green mari
ne alga, Codium dwarkense, yielded two products which contained sulphated a
rabinan and sulphated arabinogalactan. The product containing arabinan sulp
hate exhibited stronger blood anticoagulant activity than the one containin
