Abstract
We have performed spin- and angle-resolved photoemission spectroscopy for t he Ni 3d valence band using vuv-circularly polarized synchrotron radiation (hv = 60 - 80eV) from helical undulator of Photon Factory in KEK. The exper iment was performed using our recently developed spin-resolving photoemissi on spectrometer with compact retarding type Mott detector and hemispherical analyzer. We have observed clear magnetic circular dichroism (MCD) especia lly in the minority spin bands.
