The Mg2-xTixNi1-yCuy(0<x<2, 0<y<1) alloys have been successfully synthesize
d by the diffusion method (DM). We have investigated the gas-solid phase re
actions of the alloys-Ii, system with and without the treatment of F-soluti
on. A study of the hydrogen desorption process was also carried out. The re
sults show that the main phase of the alloys is an Mg2Ni structure. The gas
-solid phase reaction can occur without detailed surface treatment and acti
vation. A study on the anti-corrosion properties in alkaline solution of Mg
2-xTixNi1-yCuy(0<x<2, 0<y<1) alloys electrodes has been done. The results s
how that the addition of Ti improves anti-corrosion properties, while addit
