Abstract
We report two patients who presented with multiple dome-shaped papules scat tered on their cheeks, nose and eyelids on both sides. In both patients, la boratory investigations including total blood count, biochemical profile, c hest radiograph, and purified protein derivative test were normal. Histopat hological examination of a skin biopsy from patient 1 revealed tuberculoid granulomas in the dermis, and a skin biopsy from patient 2 showed sarcoidal granulomas. Mycobacterium tuberculosis could not be detected by PCR in les ions. Diagnoses of lupus miliaris disseminatus faciei were made based on th e clinical and histopathological findings, and oral isotretinoin treatment (40 mg/day) was initiated, The lesions of both patients showed marked impro vement 4 months later.
