Abstract
A study was carried out to assess the effect of 60 and 120 ppm sulphur diox ide one hour daily for 15 and 30 days on serum total lipid and cholesterol level in albino rat Rattus norvegicus (Berkenhout). The present findings re veal that serum total lipid increases very highly significantly, while seru m cholesterol increases significantly after 30 days exposure to 120 ppm sul phur dioxide gas.
