Abstract
Several factors influence the tensile strength during the degradation of ny lon-6 films viz. antioxidant concentration, aging time and aging temperatur e. A 3x5 experimental design has been adopted to study the effect of these factors using Response Surface Methodology. A linear second-order model has been developed to optimize and to study the interaction effects on tensile strength of the nylon-6 films.
