Abstract
The palladium-catalyzed cross-coupling reaction of aryl halides or ary l triflates with diborane 1 yielded structurally diverse aryl boronate s which were reacted in situ with aryl halides or aryl triflates to af ford a variety of biaryls in moderate to high yield. (C) 1997 Elsevier Science Ltd.
