Abstract
Results are given from international comparisons of laser interference diff ractometers from the All-Russia Metrology Research Institute VNIIM and the International Bureau of Weights and Measures IBWM, which have been performe d on measures for short lengths. These measures are described along with me thods of measuring them in a diffractometer.
