Abstract
An experiment to search for hypothetical neutralino dark matter using lithi um fluoride bolometer array is underway. This bolometer array consists of e ight pieces of 21 g LiF bolometers. Fluorine has large sensitivity for axia lly coupled neutralino compared with other nuclei. We report on the first r esults from the pilot run in a shallow depth site (15 m w.e.). From the mea sured energy spectra the exclusion limits for the cross section of the elas tic neutralino scattering off protons are evaluated. (C) 1999 Elsevier Scie nce B.V. All rights reserved.
