Abstract
This paper discusses how new discretizations of QCD can be used to substant ially reduce the cost of QCD simulations. The conceptual basis for these ne w techniques is reviewed and the implications for both large-scale and smal l-scale simulations are discussed. (C) 1999 Elsevier Science B.V. All right s reserved.
