Abstract
In a narrow GaAs quantum well, we resolve biexponential decays of optical c oherences into decay-associated spectra identifying two distinct excitonic behaviors within the same inhomogeneously broadened absorption resonance. T hese excitonic states with overlapping spectra show different optical nonli nearities which allow us to identify them as noninteracting strongly locali zed excitonic states and weakly localized strongly interacting excitonic st ates.
