Abstract
We present the results of the spin asymmetries Al of the proton and the deu teron in the kinematic region extending down to x = 6 x 10(-5) and Q(2) = 0 .01 GeV2. The data were taken with a dedicated low x trigger, which require d hadron detection in addition to the scattered muon, so as to reduce the b ackground at low x. The results complement our previous measurements and th e two sets are consistent in the overlap region. No significant spin effect s are found in the newly explored region. [S0556-2821(99)02617-X].
