A method for investigating the asymmetric high-frequency cyclotron radiatio
n generated by asymmetric reflectivity in tokamaks with partial fish-scale
first wall is presented. It is shown that the differential and average refl
ectivities which, respectively, determine the passive synchrotron radiation
current drive and power loss in tokamak reactors can be obtained from rela
tive measurements of high-frequency radiation in existing and next-step tok
amaks.
