Abstract
Three patients with an arthroscopically proved normal variant, the oblique meniscomeniscal ligament, underwent prospective magnetic resonance (MR) ima ging of the knee. In the first case, the ligament was misinterpreted as a d isplaced flap tear of the posterior horn of the lateral meniscus. In the tw o subsequent cases, the ligament was identified correctly at MR imaging as the oblique meniscomeniscal ligament.
