Films of Prussian blue of different thicknesses are comprehensively studied
in the presence of 0.1-1 M KCl at pH 2-4 by cyclic voltammetry, chronoampe
rometry, and chronopotentiometry. Effect of the film thickness and the elec
trolyte composition on voltammetric curves and chronopotentiograms is inves
tigated. The conclusion is drawn that the charge transport in thick films o
f Prussian blue is controlled by diffusion and migration. The chronoamperog
rams are utilized to calculate effective diffusion coefficients for charge
carriers at different film oxidation degrees.
