Abstract
The heat treatment technique in sulfur-saturated vapor for ZnS:Mn thin film s deposited by thermal evaporation is described in this paper. Results of A uger electron-spectroscopy (AES) and X-ray diffraction (XRD) analyses and t he measurement of the energy gap show that thin films made in this way have better stoichiometric proportion and hexagonal system to meet the need of electroluminescent thin films.
