Abstract
Transformation of Penicillium expansum with the pBT6 vector yielded 8 to 34 transformants per mu g of DNA. Hybridization analyses revealed that homolo gous recombination occurred in most of the transformants. Twenty-one out of 25 transformants analysed showed hybridization patterns which were indisti nguishable from that of the wild type.
