Abstract
The cyanomethyl ligands of the title complex, cis-[Pt(CH2CN)(2)(PPh3)(2)]. 0.6CH(2)Cl(2), adopt a syn geometry. The Pt-C bond lengths have an average value of 2.121 (17) Angstrom, and the C-Pt-C bond angle is 85.3 (3)degrees.
