Abstract
In the crystal structure of the title compound, C25H20O . C18H15OP, the com ponents are linked through O-H ... O and C-H ... O hydrogen bonds. The phen yl rings of triphenylphosphine oxide are close packed, while those of 4-(tr iphenylmethyl)phenol are involved in a sextuple embrace type of packing.
