Abstract
Arthroscopic debridement and capsular release was performed in a 57-year-ol d woman because of post-traumatic stiffness in the dominant right elbow joi nt. During this procedure, the median and radial nerves were completely tra nsected. A few recent reports of small series have described encouraging re sults after arthroscopic capsular release of post-traumatic elbow contractu re, but the present case demonstrates the inherent risk of damage to neurov ascular structures.
